(Emailed) Question Sent To ESI

October 23rd, 2006

My Name is David Shimino,

I have been thinking about selling my business (small chain of electronics stores), but I’m not really sure how to handle the situation. I have a son that works as the manager at our main branch but I don’t feel that he would be capable of running the chain. I am getting too old to work the hours I presently work.

I want to get the most out of my business and cut back on my hours but I don’t think I’m really ready to sell just yet. I am trying to find out what steps I might take to get the most out of the sale when I decide to move forward. I am also interested in hearing how other might have handled situations where family members are involved.

Thanks,

David
